THE HEALTHY OPPORTUNITIESPILOTS HOP IS THE NATIONS FIRST COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM TO TEST AND EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF PROVIDING SELECT EVIDENCE-BASED, NON-MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS RELATED TO HOUSING, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION AND INTERPERSONAL SAFETY AND TOXIC STRESS TO HIGH-NEEDS MEDICAID ENROLLEES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FOOD TO THOSE ENROLLED IN THIS PROGRAM. IN ADDITION, TEFAP IS A FEDERAL PROGRAM THAT HELPS SUPPLEMENT THE DIETS OF LOW-INCOME AMERICANS, INCLUDING ELDERLY PEOPLE, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH EMERGENCY FOOD AND NUTRITION ASSISTANCE AT NO COST.
