Part 3 - Line 4a
THE SANTA TO THE SEA IS A CHARITY RUN THAT HELPS COLLECT TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS FOR CHILDREN IN VENTURA COUNTY. THE CHARITY ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AND CONTINUING STUDENTS TO ATTEND OXNARD COLLEGE. IN ADDITION, THE CHARITY PROVIDES FOOD FOR FAMILIES AT THANKSGIVING AND TO LOCAL YOUTH GROUPS.
SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $16,242 WERE AWARDED TO 80 FUTURE AND CONTINUING STUDENTS AT OXNARD COLLEGE.
A TOY DRIVE IS PUT ON DURING THE CHARITY RUN AND 3,000 TOYS WERE DONATED TO THE ORGANIZATION TO BE GIVEN TO CHILDREN IN LOCAL VENTURA COUNTY.
