FORGET ME NOT CHILDREN'S SERVICES IS A HAVEN FOR CHILDREN AND ANIMALS TO BOND AND BREAK THE CYCLE OF ABUSE.

Part 3 - Line 4a
ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAMS WHICH SERVED OVER 275 AT-RISK YOUTH DURING THE YEAR. THESE PROGRAMS USE ANIMAL ASSISTED INTERVENTIONS AND GARDEN THERAPY TO TEACH KINDNESS AND RESPECT FOR ALL LIVING THINGS. FOR YOUTH BETWEEN AGES 14-18 YEARS THE MENTORING PROJECT PROVIDES VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT. ALL PARTICIPANTS BENEFIT FROM THE HOME (HEALTHY ORGANIC MEALS AND EDUCATION) PROJECT BY LEARNING THE IMPORTANCE OF EATING FRESH FRUITS & VEGETABLES. DURING THE YEAR, FMNCS PROVIDED AN ESTIMATED 7,000 POUNDS OF ORGANIC PRODUCE TO CHILDREN IN THE PROGRAMS AND SOME OF THEIR FAMILIES. OUR ANIMAL FAMILY INCREASED BY 30 RESCUED HENS AND ONE EMU.
