THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED TO SUPPORT THE GRAND RAPIDS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO FURTHER ITS CHARITABLE MISSION. THE CORPORATION WILL ALLOW GRCF TO PROVIDE NEEDED SPACE FOR ITS STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS TO MAKE DECISIONS ON GRANTS TO CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS, TO RAISE THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT NEEDED TO CONTINUE TO GROW THE ENDOWMENT THAT AIDS IN ASSURING THAT THE GRAND RAPIDS AREA COMMUNITY GROWS AND THRIVES, TO PROVIDE NEEDED FACILITIES TO CONVENE COMMUNITY MEETINGS DESIGNED TO ADDRESS COMMUNITY ISSUES AND CONCERNS, AND TO PROVIDE MEETING AND SUPPORT FACILITIES FOR AREA CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE GRAND RAPIDS AREA TO MEET TO RESOLVE ISSUES AND CREATE SOLUTIONS.
