HOUSING DEVELOPMENT: THE ORGANIZATION IS CURRENTLY IN THE RESEARCH AND FUNDRAISING PHASE FOR THE PROPERTY SITE THAT WAS DONATED AT THE END OF 2017. OSPREY VILLAGE APPLIED TO THE SC HOUSING TRUST FUND FOR CAPITAL FUNDING OF PHASE I OF THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN JUNE 2021 BUT WAS NOT AWARDED FUNDING. PLANS ARE NEARING COMPLETION FOR A CAPITAL CAMPAIGN AND OTHER PRIVATE FUNDING OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND ITS HOUSING UNITS. FINAL ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, AND PERMITTING WILL BEGIN IN EARLY 2024 WITH INITIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN EARLY 2025.
