THE MISSION OF THE LOUISIANA ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOLS IS TO SUPPORT, PROMOTE, AND ADVOCATE FOR THE LOUISIANA CHARTER SCHOOL MOVEMENT, INCREASING STUDENT ACCESS TO HIGH QUALITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS STATEWIDE.

SCHOOL SUPPORT SERVICES - LAPCS PROVIDES SCHOOL SUPPORT AND TRAINING IN A NUMBER OF AREAS INCLUDING GOVERNANCE, FINANCE AND OPERATIONS, COMMUNICATIONS, HUMAN RESOURCES AND EMPLOYMENT LAW. THIS WORK IS DONE THROUGH OUR ANNUAL CONFERENCE, GROUP TRAININGS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, AND INDIVIDUAL WORK WITH SCHOOLS BY LAPCS STAFF AND INDUSTRY EXPERTS.
THE POLICY PROGRAM SERVES TO KEEP CHARTER SCHOOL COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS AWARE OF AND UPDATED ON LEGISLATIVE BILLS AND DISCUSSIONS THAT AFFECT THE VARIOUS ASPECTS OF CHARTER SCHOOL. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY RESEARCH AND ATTENDANCE AT LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS STATEWIDE.
