THE DALLAS STARS AND THE NHL PARTNER TOGETHER ON INITIATIVES TO HELP SERVE THE COMMUNITY AND MYRIAD OF CAUSES. THEME NIGHTS FROM LAST SEASON INCLUDE: HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER, MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT, HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE. ON THEME NIGHTS THERE ARE MULTIPLE FUNDRAISERS THAT TAKE PLACE THAT BENEFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT'S MISSIONS ALIGN WITH THE THEME NIGHT. FUNDRAISERS INCLUDE: JERSEY AND HOCKEY STICK AUCTIONS, 50/50 RAFFLE, MYSTERY PUCKS, T-SHIRTS, ETC. IT IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERY THEME NIGHT.
THE DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION 50/50 RAFFLE RAISES FUNDS FOR WORTHWHILE NORTH TEXAS CHARITIES WHILE GIVING YOU THE CHANCE TO WALK AWAY WITH A NIGHTLY CASH PRIZE!RAFFLE TICKETS ARE SOLD DURING EACH STARS HOME GAME AND A DRAWING IS HELD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE THIRD PERIOD TO SELECT THE LUCKY WINNER OF HALF OF THE TOTAL POT FOR THAT GAME. HALF OF THE MONEY RAISED FROM THE 50/50 RAFFLE GOES DIRECTLY TOWARDS THE FUNDING OF OUR COMMUNITY GRANTS.
THE DALLAS STARS FOUNDATION PARTNERED WITH DALLAS STARS PLAYERS TO LAUNCH A PROGRAM TO HELP ASSIST THE 861 PART-TIME EMPLOYEES WHO LOST PAY FROM THE GAMES THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO WORK THROUGH THE REGULAR SEASON.
