WE RECOGNIZE THAT DOG AND CAT OVERPOPULATION IS A MAJOR BURDEN ON OUR COMMUNITIES RESULTING IN MANY UNWANTED ANIMALS. THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO PREVENT THIS IS STERILIZATION; THEREFORE, OUR GOAL IS TO SPAY AND NEUTER AS MANY ANIMALS AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE A FUNDRAISING AND NETWORKING ORGANIZATION, DEDICATED TO RAISING FUNDS FOR ANIMAL RESCUE WORK, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE SPAY AND NEUTER OF DOGS AND CATS. WE PROMOTE CAMARADERIE AND NETWORKING AMOUNG ANIMAL RESCUE GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN IMPROVING ANIMAL WELFARE. THE FUNDS WE RAISE ARE USED TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES FOR STERILIZATION, VACCINES, AND EXTREME MEDICAL PROCEDURES NEEDED TO SAVE OR IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR COMPANION ANIMALS.

SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM - TO PROVIDE AS MANY NO COST, OR LOW COST, SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHERS AS OUR FUNDS ALLOW, FOR THE SPAY OR NEUTER AND VACCINATION OF DOGS AND CATS, WHEN PET OWNERS CANNOT AFFORD THE EXPENSE OR FOR RESCUED ANIMALS TO READY THEM FOR ADOPTION. TO PROVIDE VOUCHERS FOR THE SPAY OR NEUTER, RABIES VACCINES, AND EAR TIPPING OF FERAL OR OUTDOOR LIVING CATS THAT ARE RETURNED TO THEIR OUTDOOR HOMES, HEALTHY AND UNABLE TO REPRODUCE. TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR CATS THAT ARE SOCIAL WITH PEOPLE, AND KITTENS ARE FOSTERED, SOCIALIZED, VETTED AND ADOPTED INTO HOMES. IN 2023 ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED FOR 1,621 CATS AND 293 DOGS.
VET ASSIST PROGRAM - TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE EXPENSE OF PROCEDURES THAT SAVE OR IMPROVE THE LIVES OF COMPANION ANIMALS. OFTEN ANIMALS ARE PUT DOWN OR SUFFER NEEDLESSLY BECAUSE THEIR OWNERS CANNOT AFFORD EXPENSIVE LIFE SAVING MEDICAL TREATMENT. IN 2023 WE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 222 CATS, 150 DOGS, AND 2 GUINEA PIGS.
PET CARE PROGRAM - TO PROVIDE PET FOOD AND SUPPLIES TO PEOPLE THAT FOSTER DOGS OR CATS OR COMMUNITY CAT COLONY CAREGIVERS. IT INCLUDES PURCHASE AND USE OF VACCINES AND OTHER BULK MEDICATION AND HUMANE TRAPS AND CARRIERS. WE PARTNER WITH LICENSED RESCUE GROUP, HANDS TO PAWS, FOR THE ADOPTION OF PETS IN ORDER TO FIND THEM LOVING HOMES. THIS REQUIRES VACCINES AND OTHER MEDICATIONS IN THEIR RECORDS.
