THE MORRIS INSTITUTE'S FARM IS USED BY THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR RESEARCH AND INSTRUCTION IN SILVICULTURE, DEVELOPING TREATMENT TO PRESERVE AND BETTER FOREST STANDS.


THE NOBLE COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT IS ALLOWED COMPLETE ACCESS TO THE FARM FOR EXPERIMENTATION. ALSO DONATIONS ARE MADE TO LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENTS.


STUDENTS FROM THE NOBLE COUNTY, OHIO SCHOOLS SYSTEM ARE BROUGHT TO THE MORRIS INSTITUTE'S FARM ONCE EACH YEAR FOR A "CHILDREN TO FARM CITY DAY".
