IN THE 2021-22 ACADEMIC YEAR, LEAD GUITAR SERVED 77 SCHOOLS IN 5 STATES, TEACHING 4,374 STUDENTS TO PLAY GUITAR AND 86 PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS TO TEACH GUITAR. STUDENTS SERVED HAS STABILIZED FOLLOWING COVID-19 AND REMOTE-LEARNING, AND ALL SCHOOLS HAVE RESUMED IN-PERSON LEARNING. LEAD GUITAR CARRIED OUT SOME EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, SUCH AS SHOWCASE CONCERTS AND TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN COMMUNUTIES WHERE IT WAS SAFE TO DO SO, AS WELL AS PROVIDED A YOUTUBE BROADCAST FOR STUDENTS TO HAVE A ALTERNATIVE PERFORMANCE OUTLET. LEAD GUITAR HOSTED 3 SPRING SHOWCASE CONCERTS IN APRIL AND MAY 2022.EVEN AS SHOWCASES RETURN, LEAD GUITAR CONTINUES TO PRODUCE A TWICE YEARLY YOUTUBE BROADCAST CALLED WE ARE GUITAR, FEATURING GUEST GUITAR LUMINARIES, INTERVIEWS WITH GUEST ARTISTS AND STUDENTS, AND STUDENT VIRTUAL GUITAR ENSEMBLE PERFORMANCES ALONG WITH EACH GUEST ARTIST. LEAD GUITAR PROVIDED UP TO 8 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS FOR 86 CERTIFIED PUBLIC SCHOOLS TEACHERS IN TUCSON, PHOENIX, LOS ANGELES, DENVER, CHICAGO, AND ATLANTA. WE HOSTED THIS WORKSHOP FOR SECOND TIME AS AN ONLINE WEBINAR FOR TEACHERS AND UTILIZED THE TALENTS OF EVERY STAFF MEMBER TO EITHER TEACH A PORTION OF THE WORKSHOP OR PROVIDE UP TO 90 MINUTES OF PRIVATE LESSONS PER ATTENDEE.
