IN 2022,THE PROGRAM CO-HOSTED A SUMMIT ONLINE, PRODUCED SEVERAL PUBLICATIONS IN ENGLISH AND CHINESE, SUPPORTED CAPACITY OF ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, AND CO-ORGANIZED DIALOGUES ON THE UN FOOD SYSTEMS SUMMIT, CLIMATE CHANGE, PUBLIC HEALTH, ANIMAL WELFARE, AND LIVELIHOODS. ASIA PROGRAM ACTIVITIES REACHED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION, INCLUDING THROUGH LIVE STREAMING, WEBSITES, AND SOCIAL MEDIA. GLOBAL CLIMATE ADVOCACY THE GLOBAL CLIMATE ADVOCACY PROGRAM FOCUSED IN 2022 ON CLIMATE-COMPATIBLE FOOD SYSTEMS AND AGRICULTURAL POLICIES, THROUGH RESEARCH, WRITING, COLLABORATION WITH GLOBAL NETWORKS, AND PARTICIPATING OFF- AND ONLINE IN THE UN CLIMATE CHANGE SUMMIT/COP27 AND THE FIRST FOOD4CLIMATE PAVILION. THIS WORK REACHED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE DIRECTLY (ON- AND OFFLINE), AND TENS OF THOUSANDS MORE THROUGH RESEARCH AND POLICY COLLABORATIONS AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THEIR PROCESSES AND OUTCOMES.

IN 2022, THIS WORK INCLUDED A PROJECT WITH PARTNERS TO EXAMINE THE NEW PROTEIN ECONOMY, EXPANSION OF LSRGE-SCALE ANIMAL AGRICULTURE, GRASSROOTS ACTIVISM, AND PUBLIC ATTITUDES AND NARRATIVES. THIS WORK REACHED SEVERAL THOUSAND PEOPLE, BOTH OFF- AND ONLINE, AND SERVED RESEARCHERS, POLICY- MAKERS, ORGANIZERS, STUDENTS, PHILANTHROPISTS, OTHER CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS, AND THE PUBLIC.
