Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN 2021, GBM WAS ONCE AGAIN IMPACTED BY COVID 19. AS A RESULT, INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WAS LIMITED TO ONLY ONE MISSION TRIP TO KENYA.BEFORE 2020, I WAS TYPICALLY GOING TO KENYA THREE TIMES PER YEAR, BUT NOT IN 2020 OR 2021. THE NORMAL APRIL MEETING IN RUIRU AT THE BTL CENTER WITH THE KCOM STUDENTS (MOST OF THEM ARE PASTORS), WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS IN THEIR COUNTRY. IN AUGUST, WE WERE ABLE TO DO ZOOM MEETINGS. THESE SPANNED THREE DAYS WITH EACH OF OUR FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD-YEAR STUDENTS COMING TO BTL FOR 24 HOURS. I TAUGHT THEM VIA ZOOM VIDEO. IN DECEMBER, I WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL TO KENYA, ALONG WITH PASTOR CHRIS JACKSON FROM LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA AND MY DAUGHTER, NAPHTALI MURPHY, WHO CAME ALONG AS AN ASSISTANT. WE SPENT SEVERAL DAYS TEACHING INTENSIVES TO EACH YEAR OF STUDENTS. THIS WAS GBMS ONLY INTERNATIONAL TRIP IN 2021, AND IT WAS DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH SUPPORT FROM CAPITAL CHURCH IN MERIDIAN, IDAHO AND SUPPORT FROM GRACE CHURCH OF LA VERNE, CALIFORNIA. GBM WAS INVOLVED IN 23 DIFFERENT MINISTRY EVENTS IN 2021. A FEW OF THESE INCLUDED MULTIPLE DAY PROCEEDINGS, SUCH AS THE MISSION TO KENYA AND TEACHING AT VARIOUS BIBLE COLLEGES. WE SENT MONEY TO KENYA TO HELP BRING RELIEF DURING THE COVID 19 CRISES. IN PAKISTAN, GBM CONTINUED TO RUN OUR SCHOOLS. WE STARTED A NEW GBM TRADE SCHOOL FOR WOMEN IN ESSA NAGRI LAHORE. THIS IS OUR SEVENTH SCHOOL FOR WOMEN THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY OPERATING. WE PROVIDE THE MONEY FOR THE SEWING MACHINES, THE SALARY FOR THE TEACHER, THE RENT, IF IT IS NECESSARY, AND MONEY FOR THE MATERIALS. ALONG WITH THESE, WE HAVE SEVENTEEN GBM HOPE PRIMARY SCHOOLS FOR THE BOND SLAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE FORCED TO WORK IN THE BRICKYARDS. THE PAKISTAN GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO EDUCATE THESE CHILDREN. MANY OF THE SCHOOLS ARE IN THE KASUR AREA. THERE ARE OVER 700 STUDENTS IN THESE PRIMARY SCHOOLS. CURRENTLY, WE RENT SPACE IN THE BRICKYARDS, WHERE THE SLAVES LIVE, TO HOUSE OUR SCHOOLS. OUR VISION IS STILL TO BUILD AND START A SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR THE SLAVE CHILDREN. SEVERAL YEARS AGO, WE SAVED MONEY AND BOUGHT AN ACRE OF LAND IN KASUR. IT IS ON THIS LAND THAT WE PLAN TO BUILD THE PERMANENT PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL. OUR SCHOOLS ARE ALL CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS, AND, OF COURSE, BESIDES TEACHING THE STUDENTS IN AS MANY AREAS OF ACADEMICS THAT WE CAN, OUR DESIRE IS TO TRAIN THEM IN THE WAYS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, BUT ALSO IT IS OUR HOPE THAT A HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION WILL ONE DAY BRING FREEDOM TO THESE BOND SLAVES. WHEN THEY ACHIEVE A HIGHER LEVEL OF EDUCATION THROUGH WHICH THEY CAN GET JOBS THAT PAY WELL, THEY WILL HAVE A MUCH BETTER OPPORTUNITY TO PAY OFF THE GENERATIONAL DEBT TO THE BRICK YARDS. EACH MONTH, GBM SENDS MONEY TO PAKISTAN TO SUPPORT ALL OF OUR MINISTRIES THERE. THESE INCLUDE THE PRIMARY SCHOOLS FOR SLAVE CHILDREN, THE TRADE SCHOOLS FOR WOMEN, THREE CHURCHES THAT WE STARTED AND TEACHERS AND PASTORS THAT WE SUPPORT. FOR SEVERAL YEARS, PRIOR TO 2021, GBM WAS TAKING TEAMS TO ISRAEL ON PRAYER MISSIONS IN FEBRUARY / MARCH. WE WERE UNABLE TO DO THIS IN 2021 BECAUSE OF THE COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS IN ISRAEL AND THE UNITED STATES. THE GATE BREAKER MINISTRIES WEBSITE WAS TRANSFORMED IN 2020, AND IT CONTINUES TO INFORM PEOPLE OF THE GOALS AND RESOURCES OF GBM. THERE ARE NUMEROUS EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS AND FULL COURSES THAT ARE FREE.
