Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN 2023, GATE BREAKER MINISTRIES CARRIED OUT MINISTRY BOTH IN THE UNITED STATES AND THROUGH MISSIONS INTERNATIONALLY. GBM WAS INVOLVED IN NUMEROUS MINISTRY EVENTS IN 2023. SOME OF THESE INCLUDED MULTIPLE DAY PROCEEDINGS. THESE INCLUDED TRAINING IN VARIOUS BIBLE COLLEGES IN IDAHO, CALIFORNIA, AND OREGON, THAT USE AN INTENSIVE MODEL. ALSO, THERE WERE MANY DAYS OF MINISTERING IN OUR MISSION TRIPS TO ISRAEL AND KENYA.IN FEBRUARY 2023 GBM TOOK SIXTEEN (16) PEOPLE ON A TEN-NIGHT TRIP TO ISRAEL. THE PURPOSE OF THE TRIP WAS TO TAKE CHRISTIANS ON A SPIRITUAL PILGRIMAGE THAT INCLUDED BOTH TOURISM AS WELL AS TIMES OF CORPORATE INTERCESSION AND PRAYER. WE SPENT TIME IN JERUSALEM, AT THE DEAD SEA, AT THE SEA OF GALILEE, AND ON THE MEDITERRANEAN. IT WAS A DEEPLY, SPIRITUAL-IMPACTING TRIP FOR ALL WHO WENT. WE HAD TWENTY (20) MORE PEOPLE COMMITTED TO GO ON OUR 2024 TRIP, BUT WE WERE FORCED TO CANCEL THE TRIP AND RETURN THE MONEY WHEN HAMAS ATTACKED ISRAEL IN OCTOBER 2024 AND THE WAR BECAME EXTENDED.FOR KENYA COLLEGE OF MINISTRY, WE MET THREE TIMES DURING THE YEAR: THE FIRST TWO WERE DONE IN PERSON AND THE THIRD TIME WAS VIA VIRTUAL ZOOM TEACHING. IN APRIL, I TRAVELED TO KENYA ALONG WITH TWENTY (20) SHORT-TERM MISSIONARIES FROM CAPITAL CHURCH. WHILE I TAUGHT AT KCOM, THE OTHERS DID YOUTH OUTREACHES AND MINISTRY IN CHURCHES. THERE WERE MANY NEW STUDENTS AT KCOM. ON ONE SUNDAY, THE MISSIONARIES MINISTERED IN SEVEN DIFFERENT CHURCHES ALL BELONGING TO KCOM ALUMNI. A LOT OF PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION WENT INTO THE TRIP, AND MUCH MINISTRY TOOK PLACE. WE PLAN TO DO IT AGAIN. IN AUGUST, MY WIFE, KATHLEEN, AND I PUT ON A KCOM CONFERENCE FOR ABOUT 90 ATTENDEES. THE THEME OF THE CONFERENCE WAS BASED ON PSALM 105:4 SEEK THE LORD AND HIS STRENGTH: SEEK HIS FACE FOREVERMORE! THE CONFERENCE CONNECTED CHRISTIAN LEADERS FROM AROUND KENYA. SINCE WE PROVIDED A COMMENTARY ON 1ST PETER, ONE OF TOPICS THAT MANY OF THEM COULD RELATE TO WAS ABOUT SUFFERING. MANY OF THESE LEADERS COME FROM GREAT HARDSHIPS BUT RELY ON THE LORDS SPIRIT AND PRESS THROUGH. IN DECEMBER, I WAS UNABLE TO GO TO KENYA BECAUSE OF HEALTH PROBLEMS, BUT I AND OTHERS TAUGHT THE KCOM STUDENTS THROUGH VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETINGS. THOUGH I DID NOT TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN IN 2023, I WAS ABLE TO SEND ANOTHER $50,000 FROM CONTRIBUTORS AND SAVINGS TO CONTINUE THE CONSTRUCTION OF OUR SECONDARY HOPE SCHOOL FOR THE SLAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE FORCED TO WORK IN THE BRICK YARDS. THIS FUTURE SCHOOL IS LOCATED IN KASUR, PAKISTAN. WITH THAT MONEY, WE WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE ROOF. AXIOM YWAM ALSO SENT MORE MONEY TO GBM SO THAT WE STARTED OUR 20TH PRIMARY HOPE SCHOOL FOR SLAVE CHILDREN. WE NOW HAVE TWENTY-SIX (26) SCHOOLS IN PAKISTAN. FOUR (4) OF THE SCHOOLS ARE TRADE SCHOOLS TO TRAIN DISADVANTAGED WOMEN TO BECOME SEAMSTRESSES. TWENTY (20) OF THE SCHOOLS ARE CALLED GBM PRIMARY HOPE SCHOOLS FOR STUDENTS UP TO FIFTH GRADE. THESE ARE IN TWENTY (20) DIFFERENT BRICK YARDS, WHERE AROUND ONE THOUSAND (1000) STUDENTS ATTEND OUR SCHOOLS SEVERAL HOURS FIVE DAYS PER WEEK. THESE ARE SLAVES WHO WORK IN THE BRICK YARDS. TWO (2) OF THE SCHOOLS ARE CALLED GBM FAITH SCHOOLS. ONE OF THESE IS FOR POOR CHILDREN IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN. THE OTHER ONE IS IN AN AFGHAN REFUGEE CAMP IN LAHORE. OUR MINISTRY WEBSITE WAS TRANSFORMED IN 2020, AND IT CONTINUES TO INFORM PEOPLE OF THE GOALS AND RESOURCES OF GBM. THERE ARE NUMEROUS EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS AND FULL COURSES THAT ARE FREE.
