THE MISSION OF HARTFORD CATHOLIC WORKER IS TO PRACTICE THE WORKS OF MERCY. WE DO THIS THROUGH OUR WORK WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, HELPING TO MAKE SURE THE HUNGRY ARE FED AND HELPING TO SECURE HOUSING FOR THE HOMELESS.

PROVIDE SUMMER OUTINGS AND ACTIVITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 50 NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN.
FEED THE HUNGRY - PROVIDE A FOOD CLUB FOR 20 TO 50 FAMILIES AND ALSO PROVIDE FOOD FOR LOW INCOME MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AS NEEDED.
PROVIDE HOUSING COUNSELING AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES, INCLUDING HELP WITH SECURITY DEPOSITS, FURNITURE, AND MOVING ASSISTANCE.
