PATH WITH ART PROVIDES OVER 60 SOCIAL SERVICE PARTNERS AND RELATED INDIVIDUALS WITH LIFE AFFIRMING ARTS CREATION, EXPLORATION, EXHIBITION, AND, ACCOMPLISHMENT. OUR COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS PROGRAMS BRING PEOPLE FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS TOGETHER TO HELP CONNECT TO OUR SHARED HUMANITY AND DEVELOP EMPATHY THROUGH THE POWER OF . WE PARTNER WITH ARTS AND CULTURE ORGANIZATIONS TO HELP DIVERSIFY AUDIENCES, AND TRAIN AND EMPLOY OVER 45 TEACHING ARTISTS. WE ARE DRIVEN BY A DEDICATION TO DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION ACROSS ALL FACETS OF OUR PROGRAMS.

ARTS CREATION: PATH WITH ART'S YEAR-ROUND ARTS IMMERSION PROGRAMS PROVIDE HANDS-ON, SKILL-BUILDING ARTS IN A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES - FROM SUMI PAINTING TO SHAKESPEARE - WITH INSTRUCTION AND GUIDANCE FROM AWARD-WINNING, PROFESSIONAL TEACHING ARTISTS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE HELD IN PERSON, ONLINE, OR VIA REMOTE (MAILED) ACCESS AT NO COST TO THE CORE PARTICIPANTS OR SOCIAL SERVICE PARTNERS WE SERVE. AS NEEDED AND AVAILABLE, DIGITAL DEVICE AND INTERNET ACCESS ARE PROVIDED FOR THOSE WHO WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE. EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON CREATING A SAFE ENVIRONEMENT, UTILIZING THE PRINCIPLES OF TRAUMA INFORMED CARE, AND INCUSIVE /ACCESSIBLE PRACTICE.
COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS: EXPANSIVE PUBLIC-FACING ART PROJECTS BETWEEN OUR PARTICIPANTSAND THE BROADER PUBLIC BRING DISPARATE GROUPS OF PEOPLE TOGETHER TO FOSTER DEEPERUNDERSTANDING AND COMMUNITY EMPATHY IN TIMES OF COMPASSION FATIGUE. EXAMPLES OF THIS POWERFUL PROGRAM INCLUDE HEAR & NOW, A TRAVELING COLLABORATION LED BY THE KINETIC SOUND SCULPTOR TRIMPIN WHICH TOURED SEATTLE ART MUSEUM, THE BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUSEUM OF ART, AND THE SEATTLE SYMPHONY, VETERAN SHOWCASES WITH THE SEATTLE OPERA, TAKE HEART YOURE NOT ALONE, A BILLBOARD PROJECT HIGHLIGHTING THE ART OF SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND FREE LITTLE ART GALLERIES, PROVIDING HISTORICALLY MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING ART INTO THEIR LIVES.
LEADERSHIP: PATH WITH ART'S LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IS OPEN TO PARTICIPANT ARTISTS WHO HAVE EARNED A CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT AND WISH TO VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME IN A LEADERSHIP CAPACITY.
