FOR THE FYE 7/31/23, LEADERSHIP SOUTHEAST TEXAS IDENTIFIED INDIVIDUALS AS COMMUNITY AND REGIONAL LEADERS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROGRAM SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP SOUTHEAST TEXAS IS TO ALLOW REGIONAL AND COMMUNITY LEADERS TO RECEIVE INFORMATION ABOUT CURRENT AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS IN THE REGION. LEADERSHIP SOUTHEAST TEXAS DESIRES FOR THESE LEADERS TO TAKE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND INFLUENCE TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOPE THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS REGION. THESE INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS ON 1.) BUILDING COMMUNITIES; 2.) MENTAL HELPING: HELPING YOURSELF AND OTHERS; 3.)SIMULATED SOCIETY; 4.)REDISCOVER SOUTHEAST TEXAS 5.) GRADUATION EACH SESSION HAD A STATEWIDE, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL EXPERT IN THE RESPECTIVE TOPICS GIVE PRESENTATIONS ON THE CURRENT SITUATIONS AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS AND TRENDS ON EACH ISSUE. EACH IDENTIFIED LEADER PARTICIPATED IN THE DISCUSSION BY QUESTION AND ANSWER DIALOGUE AS WELL AS PROBLEM SOLVING EXERCISES. THIS PROGRAM ALSO ALLOWS THESE LEADERS TO CREATE NETWORKING RELATIONSHIPS THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.
