HANDS FOR HAITI IS A US BASED 501C3 NON-PROFIT THAT OPERATES ST. MARC SCHOOL, A CATHOLIC FAITH-BASED SCHOOL IN RURAL NORTHERN HAITI. FOCUSING ON EDUCATION, NUTRITION, BASIC HEALTH CARE, CLEAN WATER AND FAITH FORMATION OUR MISSION IS TO GIVE STUDENTS A HAND WITH THE BASICS OF LIFE, OPENING THE DOORS TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES.

PROVIDE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE OPERATION OF ST. MARC'S SCHOOL FOR OVER 200 STUDENTS IN RURAL HAITI, INCLUDING BOOKS, MEDICAL, NUTRITIOUS MEALS YEAR ROUND, FUNDING TEACHERS AND STAFF SALARIES. CONSTRUCTED TWO BUILDINGS WITH 5 CLASS ROOMS EACH, EIGHT-STALL SANITATION BLOCK WITH CERAMIC TILE, 6-METER BRIDGE, COMPUTER ROOM, INSTALLED 6,500 GALLON RESERVOIR, THREE SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AND RELOCATED TWO SHIPPING CONTAINERS. THIS WAS TO PROVIDE 385 STUDENTS, AS WELL AS 36 TEACHERS AND STAFF, WITH AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS MORE CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND TEACHING. ADDITIONALLY, THE RESERVOIR AND STREET LIGHTS WILL PROVIDE SANITATION AND SAFETY
