THE MISSION OF ST. THOMAS MORE HOUSING, INC. TRUST (THE TRUST) IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO ST. THOMAS MORE HOUSING, INC. (A LOW INCOME HOUSING UNIT), WHILE RECOGNIZING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE NEEDS OF THE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS WHO CARE FOR THE UNDERSERVED IN OUR COMMUNITY.

DURING 2021, THE ORGANIZATION MADE THE FOLLOWING GRANTS:(1) $6,000 TO ST. ANTHONY SCHOOL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS.(2) $4,145 TO ST. WINIFRED FOOD PANTRY TO HELP FEED THE HUNGRY.
THIS ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE RESIDENTS OF ST. THOMAS MORE HOUSING, INC. (A LOW INCOME HOUSING UNIT), BY SUPPLEMENTING THEIR NEEDS FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES SUCH AS MASSAGE SERVICES & TAI CHI INSTRUCTION. BOTH ARE USED FOR STRESS REDUCTION AND A VARIETY OF OTHER HEALTH CONDITIONS. TAI CHI PROMOTES GENTLE PHYSICAL EXERCISE, AND HAS VALUE IN TREATING OR PREVENTING MANY HEALTH PROBLEMS (USED AS AN ADJUNCT TO STANDARD MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR THE PREVENTION AND REHABILITATION OF MANY CONDITIONS COMMONLY ASSOCIATED WITH AGE).
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO THE RESIDENTS OF ST. THOMAS MORE HOUSING, INC. WITH A THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR THOSE WHO WERE UNABLE TO COOK OR AFFORD THE HOLIDAY MEAL.
