PROVIDE UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED RESIDENTS OF CENTRE COUNTY WITH ACCESS TO FREE PREVENTATIVE, ACUTE AND BEHAVIORAL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE: IN FY 2021 PROVIDED 524 UNIQUE PATIENTS IN THE MEDICAL CLINIC WITH 2,967 PATIENT VISITS, BOTH IN-HOUSE AND TELEMEDICINE. STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS UTILIZE A REFERRAL NETWORK TO ASSIST PATIENTS TO ACCESS ANCILLARY SERVICES SUCH AS X-RAY, ULTRASOUND AND OTHER DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, AND SPECIALTY SERVICES SUCH AS ORTHOPEDIST, CARDIOLOGIST AND OPTOMETRIST CARE. THE VALUE OF THESE VISITS IS ESTIMATED AT $495,877.SOME EXPENSE AND GRANT INCOME IS FOR VACCINE CLINICS THAT WERE HELD OUTSIDE THE CLINIC.

MAP IS A TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WHO APPLY FOR FREE MEDICATION PROGRAMS AT PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES ON BEHALF OF CVIM PATIENTS. IN FY 2021, MAP ACCESSED APPROXIMATELY $485,744 WORTH OF MEDICATIONS FROM PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES TO BE PROVIDED TO CVIM PATIENTS.
