THE CRAWFORD HERITAGE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN CRAWFORD COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA BY CONNECTING PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS TO THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF OUR REGION. THE FOUNDATION OFFERS LOCAL SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE, ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO CHARITABLE IMPACT OF REGIONAL GIVING. IT IS ORGANIZED TO FUNCTION IN PERPETUITY AND KNOW AND UNDERSTAND COMMUNITY NEEDS NOW AND IN THE FUTURE. IT SERVES DONORS WHO HAVE MULTIPLE CHARITABLE INTENT AND THOSE WHO WISH TO HAVE AN IMPACT IN MORE THAN ONE WAY. MONEY GIVEN TO THE FOUNDATION IS USED TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUPPORT THE CAUSES OUR DONORS CARE ABOUT AS WELL AS WORTHWHILE PROGRAMS WE SELECT. WE MANAGE MORE THAN 100 FUNDS, WHICH BENEFIT MORE THAN 100 DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOLARSHIPS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES.RAISED APPROXIMATELY $540,000 OF ASSETS TO ENABLE FUTURE YEAR FUNDING OF CHARITABLE ENDEAVORS. WAS ABLE TO FUND $773,927 OF GRANTS DURING THE CURRENT YEAR.
