THROUGH OUR CORE EMERGENCY TRAVEL SUPPORT (ETS) AND 5 COMPLIMENTARY PROGRAMS, WE SUPPORTED 1,812 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021, UP FROM 503 PERSONS FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. ETS PROVIDES LIFESAVING ADVICE, RESOURCES AND TRAVEL SUPPORT TO PERSECUTED LGBTQI+ INDIVIDUALS. IN 2021, WE EVACUATED 206 PEOPLE THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
EMERGENCY RESPONSIVENESS TO CRACKDOWNS ON LGBTQI+ PEOPLE ALLOWS US TO TRACK AND RESPOND TO CRISES, AND IN 2021, WE SUPPORTED 314 LGBTQI+ INDIVIDUALS THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
LIFESAVING SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS IN IMMINENT DANGER INCLUDES DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, ACCOMMODATION, MEDICAL CARE, AND IN-COUNTRY RELOCATION. WE SUPPORTED 186 INDIVIDUALS THROUGH PROGRAM ONE IN 2021.
DIRECT SUPPORT TO PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVES COLLABORATION WITH LOCAL PARTNERS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. IN 2021, WE WORKED WITH ORGANIZATIONS AND SUPPORTED 1,096 LGBTQI+ INDIVIDUALS.
