ON FEBRUARY 7, 1925 SIX CITIZENS OF CAMBRIA COUNTY PA JOINED TOGETHER FOR THE PURPOSE OF ORGANIZING THE CAMBRIA COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY. SINCE THAT TIME , THE STAFF, VOLUNTEERS AND MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY AND COMMUNITY HAVE REMAINED COMMITTED TO THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION. WE OPERATE A MUSEUM COMPLETE WITH EXHIBITS, ARTIFACTS AND A RESEARCH LIBRARY. WE MAINTAIN AN ON-GOING HISTORY OF OUR COUNTY THROUGH PUBLISHED ARTICLES AND BOOKS. WE CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN THE FORM OF LECTURES AND HISTORY TOURS AND MARK PLACES OF HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE. HAVE PROMOTED A LONG-LASTING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PA HISTORICAL AND MUSEUM COMMISSION, THE CAMBRIA COUNTY COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE, THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OUR GENEROUS MEMBERS AND DONORS.
