PHARMACEUTICAL ASSISTANCE - BCCH HELPS BEAVER COUNTY RESIDENTS ACQUIRE THEIR PREVENTION MEDICATION IF THEY ARE WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE. BCCH IS CURRENTLY HELPING OVER 3,000 BEAVER COUNTY RESIDENTS.
HEART PROGRAM - BCCH CONDUCTS COMMUNITY CHOLESTEROL SCREENING DURING THE YEAR IN OUR CENTER OFFICE. ALSO, BCCH PROVIDES CHOLESTEROL SCREENINGS TO 7TH GRADE STUDENTS IN BEAVER COUNTY SCHOOLS. IN ADDITION, BCCH CONDUCTS HEART TRUTH PRESENTATION TO ADULT WOMEN ENCOURAGING THEM TO BE PRO-ACTIVE WITH THEIR HEART HEALTH.
CANCER PROGRAM - BEAVER COUNTY CANCER AND HEART ASSOCIATION (BCCH) CONDUCTS BREAST CANCER AND SKIN CANCER PREVENTION PRESENTATIONS. BCCH CONDUCTS A BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP, IN ADDITION BCCH PROVIDES DIGNITY ROBES TO BEAVER COUNTY WOMEN WHO ARE UNDERGOING RADIATION TREATMENT. BCCH ALSO HAS AN ANGELS R US PROGRAM WHERE BCCH OFFERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES IN BEAVER COUNTY THAT HAVE A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 18 THAT IS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER OR A LIFE THREATENING HEART CONDITION.
