THE KEY PRINCIPLES OF THIS MISSION ARE TO FOCUS PROGRAMMING ON LOCAL NEEDS, APPLY DATA-BASED KNOWLEDGE IN SETTING AND EVALUATING ACTIONS, AND TO SEEK COLLABORATIVE OPPORTUNITIES AND SOLUTIONS TO PROGRAMMING NEEDS.

REGIONAL CANCER REGISTRY: A SYSTEM OF RECORDING & REPORTING ON CANCER DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, OUTCOME, AND CLINICAL RESEARCH STATISTICS OF PATIENTS TREATED AT HOSPITALS & OUTPATIENT CLINICS IN NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA.
CANCER SCREENING NAVIGATION PROGRAM: FACILITATES SCREENING FOR BREAST, CERVICAL AND COLON CANCER AMONG LOW INCOME, UN/UNDERINSURED INDIVIDUALS IN NEPA. TRAINED NAVIGATORS ALSO FACILITATE TIMELY ACCESS TO DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT SERVICES WHEN INDICATED.
