BROWN COUNTY'S HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM - PROVISION OF LOW-INCOME RENTAL ASSISTANCE TO AN AVERAGE OF 2,883 HOUSEHOLDS PER MONTH IN 2021. STABLE HOUSING ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO FOCUS ON IMPROVING LIFE SKILLS AND BECOMING A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF SOCIETY.
ICS ADMINISTERED OUR WHEDA HCV PROGRAM IN 2021. THE PROGRAMS ARE CONTRACTED THROUGH THE WISCONSIN HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. IN MANITOWOC COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 151 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN BROWN COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 36 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN WASHINGTON COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 183 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN THE CITY OF HARTFORD WE ADMINISTER 6 MODERATE REHABILITATION VOUCHERS. IN CALUMET COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 19 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN KEWAUNEE COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 20 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN SHEBOYGAN COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 51 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS. IN OZAUKEE COUNTY WE ADMINISTER 97 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS.
BROWN COUNTY'S FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROGRAM - PROVISION OF THE FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROGRAM WHICH OVER TIME AND WITH SIGNIFICANT COMMITMENT FROM CLIENTS CAN HELP CLIENTS REACH A POINT WHERE THEY ARE NO LONGER RECEIVING ANY PUBLIC-FUNDED ASSISTANCE. AT THE CONCLUSION OF 2021, THERE WERE 75 PARTICIPANTS IN THE FSS PROGRAM. THE HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM GIVES CLIENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THEIR OWN HOME. AT THE END OF THE YEAR, OUR TOTAL OF HOMEOWNERS WAS 75.

AND BAY OAKS).(2) THE LADDER OF HOPE IS UNIQUELY DESIGNED TO ASSIST IN FILLING GAPS THAT EXIST IN SOCIETY BETWEEN GOVERNMENT SUPPORT AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. FROM PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS ITEMS IN OUR PANTRY (FOOD AND HYGIENE PRODUCTS), EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS, AND COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, TO SPIRIT-LIFTING OPPORTUNITIES.
