PRODUCTION MTCS ANNUAL PRODUCTION SEASON IS SELECTED TO ENSURE A BALANCE OF PROGRAMMING THAT CAN MEET THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY, EXAMINING THE EDUCATIONAL, HEALTH, AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE. AS MTC SERVES CLASSROOMS AS WELL AS FAMILIES, ALL PRODUCTIONS ARE DESIGNED TO INTEGRATE INTO SCHOOL CURRICULUM AS WELL. THE ON-GOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC DIRECTLY IMPACTED THE DELIVERY METHODS FOR MTC PRODUCTIONS DURING 2020-2021 SEASON, BUT IN ADAPTING TO VIRTUAL PROGRAMMIMG, MTC WAS ABLE TO EXPAND ITS PROGRAMS OFFERINGS AND EXPAND THE REACH OF THOSE OFFERINGS. EDUCATION A CORE COMPONENT OF MTCS COMMUNITY IMPACT COMES THROUGH EDUCATION PROGRAMS, DELIVERED IN MOST YEARS DIRECTLY INTO SCHOOLS ACROSS THE ST. LOUIS REGION. EDUCATION IS ALSO INTEGRATED DIRECTLY INTO ALL PRODUCTIONS, WITH LEARNING GUIDES PROVIDED TO SCHOOLS AND DISTRICTS PRIOR TO ATTENDING LIVE OR VIRTUAL PERFORMANCES OR FIELD TRIPS. THESE GUIDES EXTEND THE EXPERIENCE OF EACH PRODUCTION INTO GRADE LEVEL SPECIFIC CURRICULUM, ENABLING CONTINUED LEARNING AFTER ATTENDING A LIVE PERFORMANCE. LOCAL PARTNER DISTRICTS INCLUDE ST. LOUIS CITY, UNIVERSITY CITY, MAPLEWOOD RICHMOND HEIGHTS, WEBSTER GROVES, FERGUSON-FLORISSANT, CLAYTON, NORMANDY, JENNINGS, BRENTWOOD, AND A RANGE OF PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS.
