DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM: PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER TO 164 ADULTS AND 128 CHILDREN; 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE TO CALLERS; LEGAL ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT TO 5,977 CALLERS.
CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES PROVIDES ON-SITE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AND ADVOCACY TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. ADVOCATES CAN REPORT TO AREA LOCATIONS SUCH AS IU HEALTH BLOOMINGTON HOSPITAL, THE BLOOMINGTON POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE MONROE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE AS WELL AS AT MIDDLE WAY HOUSE. IN ADDITION TO THESE ON-SITE SERVICES THE CRISIS INTERVENTION SERVICES PROGRAM OPERATES AND OVERSEES MIDDLE WAY'S 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE. CRISIS INTERVENTION COORDINATORS FACILITATE PEER-LED SUPPORT GROUPS TO SURVIVORS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND INCEST. ALL OF THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO THE SURVIVORS.
TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM: PROVIDED HOUSING FOR 32 ADULTS AND 43 CHILDREN; PROVIDED ONGOING ADVOCACY CASE MANAGEMENT TO 32 FAMILIES; PROVIDED 62 CHILDREN WITH WEEKLY HOMEWORK/MENTORING SESSIONS.
LEGAL PROGRAM: FILED 214 PROTECTIVE ORDERS AND MONITORED 3,279 COURT CASES. SERVED 509 NEW CLIENTS AND 38 CONTINUING CLIENTS.
