SONOMA COUNTY FARM TRAILS (SCFT) IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO PRESERVING SUSTAINABLE AND DIVERSE AGRICULTURE IN SONOMA COUNTY. SINCE 1973, SCFT HAS WORKED TO ENSURE THE CONTINUING ECONOMIC VIABLITY OF SONOMA COUNTY AGRICULTURE BY INSTILLING AN APPRECIATION OF AG AS A VITAL PART OF THE COMMUNITY/LIFESTYLE.SCFT SERVES AS A LOCAL RESOURCE, PUBLISHING SONOMA COUNTY'S PREMIER ONLINE AGRICULTURAL GUIDE, PRODUCING THE GRAVENSTEIN APPLE FAIR, AND PROMOTING SEASONAL FARM TOURS. AS MANY AS 10,000 VISITORS ATTEND FREE SEASONAL TOURS ON THE WEEKEND. THEY MEET LOCAL FARMERS & PORDUCERS AND LEARN ABOUT THE VALUE OF SUPPORTING LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS.THE ANNAUL GRAVENSTEIN APPLE FAIR BRINGS 14,000 ATTENDEES TO SEBASTOPOL TO CELEBRATE THE HEIRLOOM APPLE AND THE COUNTY'S AGRICULTRUAL HERITAGE.
