TO PROMOTE MANAGEMENT OF BIGHORN SHEEP TO INCREASE THEIR POPULATION IN THE STATE. THE GOAL IS TO ESTABLISH VITAL SELF-SUSTAINING BIGHORN SHEEP POPULATIONS THROUGHOUT ALL SUITABLE HISTORIC RANGES. THE SOCIETY DEVELOPS WATERS IN SHEEP AREAS AND CONDUCTS A SEMINAR FOR HUNTERS.

THE ARIZONA DESERT BIGHORN SHEEP SOCIETY PUBLISHES AND MAILS A NEWSLETTER EACH CALENDAR QUARTER TO EDUCATE MEMBERS ABOUT PROGRAM ACTIVITIES.
THE ARIZONA DESERT BIGHORN SHEEP SOCIETY CONDUCTS A HUNTER CLINIC AND RAM RECOGNITION DINNER FOR ARIZONA SHEEP TAG HOLDERS TO EDUCATE THEM PRIOR TO THEIR HUNTS. THE OBJECTIVE IS FOR HUNTERS TO HARVEST OLDER RAMS.
