UNITED WAY OF EL DORADO WORKS TO ADVANCE THE COMMON GOOD BY CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A BETTER LIFE FOR ALL BY IMPROVING THE ASPECTS OF HEALTH, EDUCATION AND INCOME STABILITY. A STRONG COMMUNITY IS BUILT BY ADDRESSING HEALTH, EDUCATION AND INCOME BY ASSESSING CURRENT AND EMERGING NEEDS, RAISING FUNDS AND ALLOCATING RESOURCES, FOSTERING VOLUNTEERISM AND LEADERSHIP AND ENCOURAGING COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS.

THE UNITED WAY OF EL DORADO PROVIDED SUPPORT TO APPROXIMATELY 51 VITAL AGENCIES IN THE EL DORADO AND BUTLER COUNTY COMMUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION INVOLVED CITIZENS TO ALLOCATE DOLLARS TO THOSE ORGANIZATIONS THAT FULFILLED THE UNITED WAY MISSION STATEMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY BETTERMENT PROJECTS, PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES TO ADVANCE THE GOOD AND TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL.
