SEE SCHEDULE OTHE PURPOSE OF THE HOLYOKE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION IS TO SECURE, INVEST, AND STEWARD FINANCIAL AND OTHER RESOURCES TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION AND EXPAND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR HCC STUDENTS. GOVERNED BY A BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE HCC FOUNDATION AWARDED MORE THAN $300,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022 YEAR AND ESTABLISHED THE BIENVENIDOS LATINX SCHOLARSHIP. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO DISTRIBUTE FUNDING FROM THE PRESIDENT'S STUDENT EMERGENCY FUND TO SUPPORT STUDENTS FACING UNANTICIPATED BARRIERS. A DAY OF GIVING WAS LAUNCHED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR AND RESULTED IN NEARLY $200,000 RAISED BY MORE THAN 400 DONORS OVER A 24-HOUR PERIOD. MEANINGFUL DONOR RELATIONS AND STEWARDSHIP ACTIVITIES RESULTED IN NEW PLANNED GIFT COMMITMENTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ESTABLISHED WITH THE FOUNDATION
