TO PROMOTE THE HUMANE TREATMENT OF HOOVED ANIMALS THROUGH EDUCATION, LEGISLATION, INVESTIGATION AND, WHERE NECESSARY, INTERVENTION. THE SOCIETY WAS ORGANIZED TO INVESTIGATE AND CORRECT THE ABUSE OF HOOVED ANIMALS. SOME ANIMALS MAY BE RESCUED, BROUGHT BACK TO HEALTH AND THEN PLACED IN A NEW HOME. THE HOOVED ANIMALS THAT ARE NOT PLACED IN A NEW HOME REMAIN ON THE FARM AND RECEIVE CARE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR NATURAL LIVES.
