THE MISSION OF THE HUMANE SOCIETY IS TO ADVOCATE AND RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT ANIMAL OVERPOPULATION AND THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PET OWNERS BY SPAYING AND NEUTERING. WE STRIVE TO PLACE AS MANY STRAY, ABANDON, AND HOMELESS ANIMALS AS POSSIBLE INTO GOOD HOMES WITH LOVING OWNERS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE HUMANE SOCIETY SHELTER HANDLES ANIMALS WHICH WERE CHECKED FOR DISEASE, FED, HOUSED AND VACCINATED. MANY OF THESE ANIMALS WERE SPAYED/NEUTERED AND ADOPTED INTO GOOD HOMES. MONTHY ADOPT-A-THONS WERE SPONSORED AT A LOCAL PET STORE IN WHICH OTHER SPAYED AND NEUTERED SHELTER ANIMALS WERE ADOPTED. SAN DIEGO RESCUE GROUPS TOOK MANY ANIMALS FROM US WHICH THEY SPAYED/NEUTERED AND PLACED.


HUMANE SOCIETY STAFF AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS TRAPPED FERRAL CATS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, TRANSPORTED THEM FOR SPAY/NEUTER AND RETURNED THEM TO THIER ENVIRONMENTS. THE ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICERS OF THE CITIES OF BRAWLEY AND CALEXICO HAVE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM.
