UNITED WAY OF NORTHERN OZAUKEE IS PROUD TO SUPPORT 13 OZAUKEE COUNTY PARTNER AGENCIES THAT PROVIDE CRITICAL PROGRAMMING IN OUR THREE IMPACT AREAS: HEALTH, EDUCATION AND FINANCIAL STABILITY. THIS YEAR OVER 11,506 OZAUKEE COUNTY RESIDENTS BENEFITTED FROM UNITED WAY FUNDED PROGRAMS. OVER 1,000 CHILDREN WHO EXPEREINCED ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND POOR MENTAL HEALTH RECEIVED COUNSELING AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO DEVELOP STRESS MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES, COPING SKILLS, AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS. 132 INDIVIDUALS WERE ABLE TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES AFTER RECEIVING RENT ASSISTANCE. OVER 400 GIFT CARDS WERE GIVEN TO 8 AGENCIES TOTALING $13,000 TO HELP AT RISK FAMILIES DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
