THE FAIRFAX CHORAL SOCIETY (FCS) SERVES THE COMMUNITY BY ENRICHING LIVES THROUGH THE PERFORMANCE, EDUCATION, AND APPRECIATION OF CHORAL ART.

PRODUCTION, PROMOTION, AND PERFORMANCE OF CHORAL MUSIC PROGRAMS. AS RESPONSIBLE STEWARDS OF THE CHORAL INSTRUMENT AND ART FORM, FCS SEEKS TO ALWAYS PRODUCE HIGH-QUALITY PERFORMANCES BY EACH OF ITS PERFORMING ENSEMBLES. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GROUP'S MISSION, FCS WORKS TIRELESSLY EVERY SEASON TO PERFORM CONCERTS INCLUDING NEW COMPOSITIONS, MAJOR CHORAL WORKS ACCOMPANIED BY A FULL ORCHESTRA, AND ONE POPS CONCERT. OUR ENSEMBLES HAVE TOURED INTERNATIONALLY, HOSTED VISITING CONDUCTORS AND MAJOR VOCAL ARTISTS, AND PERFORMED EXCHANGE CONCERTS.
MUSIC EDUCATION AND TRAINING. FCS CONTRIBUTES TO THE CHORAL ARTS CALENDAR AND ENRICHES THE CULTURAL HORIZON OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS ONE OF THE LARGEST NORTHERN VIRGINIA CHORAL GROUPS, WITH ELEVEN CHOIRS AND TEN MUSICIANSHIP CLASSES FOR SINGERS FROM PRESCHOOL TO ADULT.
