THE CHOIR EXISTS TO FURTHER EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY, PROVIDING MUSICAL AND VOICE TRAINING TO CHILDREN AGE 6 TO 18. ITS GOAL IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNTIES FOR GROWTH, LEARNING, DISCIPLINE, CONFIDENCE AND JOY IN MUSIC.

WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 150 CHOIRISTERS RANGING FROM 7-18. THEY ARE DIVIDED INTO 3 TRANING CHOIRS AND A CONCERT CHOIR. ALL CHOIRS REHEARSE 1-2 HOURS PER WEEK AND PERFORM TOGETHER IN 2 CONCERTS, ONE IN DECEMBER AND ONE IN APRIL. THE TRAINING CHOIRS ALSO PATICIPATED IN A MUSIC FESTIVAL IN WILLIAMSBURG. THE CONCERT CHOIR ATTENDED A MUSIC FESTIVAL AT CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT UNIVERSITY IN NEWPORT NEWS VA.
