DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH NORMALLY HOLDS MORE THAN TWELVE MEETINGS EACH YEAR, FEATURING SPEAKERS ON VARIOUS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUBJECTS, HELD TWO MEETINGS. SPEAKERS ADDRESSED NEW CONCEPTS AND RELATED PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCES.,
THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTED TWO PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS (PPD'S), FOR BOTH MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. THE PURPOSE OF THESE EVENTS IS TO GIVE LOCAL PROJECT MANAGERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN AN INTENSIVE STUDY OF A PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONCEPT OR TOOL. A NATIONALLY KNOWN EXPERT IN THE SUBJECT OF THE DAY IS BROUGHT TO THE LOCAL AREA TO CONDUCT THE PROGRAMS. THESE FULL DAY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE RECOGNIZED BY THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE AS QUALIFYING FOR WORLDWIDE ACCEPTANCE AS EDUCATIONAL "PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNITS."
