TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION AND REVITALIZATION OF HISTORIC GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CITIZENS, BUSINESSES AND VISITORS, VIA CO-OP LOAN PROGRAMS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, VARIOUS GRANT PROGRAMS, AND BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS.
THE BALTIMORE STREET HISTORIC PATHWAY REVITALIZATION PROJECT IS A GRASS ROOTS COMMUNITY INITIATIVE TO IMPROVE THE BALTIMORE STREET CORRIDOR. MISSION OF THE PROJECTTO IMPROVE THE ECONOMY, CREATE JOBS AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE WITHIN THE BALTIMORE STREET DISTRICT.VISIONWHEN ENTERING THE MAJOR GATEWAYS INTO GETTYSBURG, HAVING A VISUALLY BEAUTIFUL AND CONSISTENT DESIGN ALONG THE MAIN ARTERIES THAT SHOWCASES THE HISTORIC AND CULTURAL AMBIANCE OF THE TOWN.
