THE COMPANY PROVIDES FIRE PROTECTION, RESCUE SERVICES, FOREST FIRE PROTECTION, MEDICAL SERVICES, SPILL CONTAINMENT, AND SUPPORT TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP AND MUTUAL AID TO NEIGHBORING TOWNSHIPS. THE FIRE COMPANY HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF PROTECTING APPROXIMATELY 18 SQUARE MILES OF DAUPHIN COUNTY. THE FIRE COMPANY CURRENTLY HAS 40 ACTIVE FIREFIGHTERS AND EMTS.
