AID TO ANIMALS IN DISTRESS: ORCA RESPONDS TO INJURED OR ILL ANIMALS 24 HOURS A DAY. IN FISCAL 2022, ORCA RESPONDED TO 900 EMERGENCIES INVOLVING 1023 ANIMALS. 22 CASES OF ANIMAL ABUSE/NEGLECT WERE INVESTIGATED BY OUR HUMANE POLICE OFFICERS
PROVIDED PLACEMENT FOR ABANDONED OR UNWANTED ANIMALS INCLUDING LISTING ON WEBSITE AND CALL CENTER
LOW COST SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM PROVIDES SUBSIDIES FOR THE SPAYING AND NEUTERING OF CLIENT PETS. DURING FISCAL 2022 19 ANIMALS WERE NEUTERED
