TO REACH JESUS CHRIST THROUGH ACTIVITIES (SPORTS, BIBLE STUDIES, OTHER ACTIVITIES) WITH LEADERS ON WEEKENDS, WEEKLY MEETINGS, MISSION TRIPS. EMPHASIS ON REACHING YOUNG PEOPLE.CONDUCT WEEKLY MEETINGS ON FRIDAYS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND THURSDAYS DURING THE SUMMER, WHERE WE AVERAGE ABOUT 40 STUDENTS. MEETINGS CONSISTS OF A MEAL (SUMMER ONLY), SWIMMING (SUMMER ONLY) AND ACTIVITIES, ALONG WITH A WORSHIP TIME WHEN CHILDREN ARE BROKEN INTO THREE GROUPS: JR. ACTION 3 -5TH GRADES, IMPACT 6-8 GRADES AND ACTION 9 - 12TH. SPECIAL EVENTS CALLED OUTREACHES ARE ALSO CONDUCTED SUCH AS, FIFTY FOOT BANANA SPLIT NIGHT, ANYTHING GOES NIGHT, OLYMPIC NIGHT, SWIMMING, SOFTBALL ETC. WE DO DAY TRIPS AND A WINTER WEEKEND. THE PURPOSE OF THESE SPECIAL EVENTS IS TO GIVE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR KIDS TO BRING OUT THEIR FRIENDS FOR A FUN TIME, AND TO LEARN ABOUT GOD'S LOVE FOR THEM. WE HAVE A COVE VALLEY WINTER WEEKEND, AND EACH SUMMER WE DO A CONFERENCE OR MISSIONS TRIP. THIS PAST SUMMER IT WAS SURF (SHARING AND UNDERSTANDING REAL FAITH) 2022 WITH ABOUT 25 STUDENTS AT THE OUTER BANKS. CONDUCT 5TH QUARTERS AT THE TWIN VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL HOME GAMES WHERE WE DISH OUT FREE ICE CREAM IN THE HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA, HAVE GAMES, TALK WITH THE STUDENTS AND IF THE OPPORTUNITY ARISES, WE SHARE HOW TO KNOW CHRIST PERSONALLY.
