THE ASSOCIATION PROMOTES SOCIAL WELFARE OF VETERANS AND THEIR DEPENDENTS, WIDOWS AND ORPHANS OF VETERANS, AND MEMBERS OF THE U.S. ARMED FORCES (ITS MEMBERS) IN THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO THE DISABLED AND NEEDY, CARRYING ON PROGRAM ACTIVITIES TO PERPETUATETHE MEMORY OF DECEASED VETERANS AND HONOR MEMBERS OF THE US ARMED FORCES, CONDUCTING PROHRAMS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, AND PROVIDING ENTERTAINMENT, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS.
