THE MISSION OF THE HEMPFIELD FIRE DEPARTMENT IS TO PROTECT THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF THE CUSTOMERS SERVED IN THE EAST HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP AND SURROUNDING JURISDICTIONS. EVERY MEMBER IS INDIVIDUALLY RESPONSIBLE, TO THEMESELVES AND EACH OTHER, TO SUPPORT THIS MISSION BY ENSURING THAT THEY ARE HIGHLY TRAINED, DEDICATED, LOYAL, AND AT ALL TIMES PROFESSIONAL IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES. THIS MISSION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND HAZARD MITIGATION, PUBLIC FIRE EDUCATION, AND FIRE PREVENTION ACTIVITIES.
