CHARLES COLE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (AKA UPMC COLE) IS THE FEDERALLY TAX-EXEMPT PARENT OF HENDORN, INC. HENDORN OPERATES COLE MANOR WHICH SERVES APPROXIMATELY 20 RESIDENTS ANNUALLY, WITH AN AVERAGE OF 4 RESIDENTS RECEIVING CHARITY CARE FOR THE SERVICES PROVIDED TO THEM. HENDORN PROVIDES FOOD AND SHELTER TO THE RESIDENTS UNDER A SHORT TERM ASSISTED LIVING RENTAL AGREEMENT. FOR THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022, COLE MANOR PROVIDED 7,088 RESIDENT DAYS FOR CARE AND PROVIDED $27,920 IN CHARITY CARE TO RESIDENTS.
