BAYADA LIKE MANY OTHER HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS RESPONDED SWIFTLY TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC WITH THE PRIMARY FOCUS BEING THE SAFETY OF OUR CLIENTS AND EMPLOYEES. THE COMPANY'S RESPONSE CONSISTED OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: -BAYADA HELD DAILY LEADERSHIP HUDDLES/MEETINGS TO ACCELERATE PROBLEM SOLVING ACROSS OUR EIGHT SPECIALTY PRACTICES IN 20+ MARKETS, PROVIDED DAILY EMAIL/TEXT/YOUTUBE UPDATES FOR OUR FRONTLINE WORKERS, AND CREATED A COVID-19 RESPONSE WEBSITE FOR EMPLOYEES, CLIENTS, REFERRALS/PAYORS/PARTNERS, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH SUPPORTIVE AND EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND RESOURCES. -BAYADA MOBILIZED PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS TO CREATE A NEW PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO ENSURE THAT CARE COULD BE DELIVERED SAFELY TO THOUSANDS OF HIGH-RISK CLIENTS. WE CENTRALIZED PPE PURCHASING AND DISTRIBUTION TO MITIGATE INFECTION RISK AMONG HIGH-RISK CLIENTS AND TO GUARANTEE THE QUALITY AND AVAILABILITY OF PPE TO PROTECT FIELD CLINICIANS. -BAYADA MOBILIZED RESOURCES TO HOST OUR OWN VACCINE CLINICS THAT IMMUNIZED 700+ HEALTH CARE WORKERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS. -BAYADA REINVENTED THE MODEL FOR IN-HOME COVID-19 CARE AND CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVED IT IN REAL TIME, PROVIDING ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE FOR SERIOUSLY ILL CLIENTS IN QUARANTINE. FOR MEDICALLY FRAGILE CLIENTS, BAYADA FOCUSED ON KEEPING THEM SAFE AND PROTECTED. - BAYADA INITIATED NEW, NON-MANDATORY EMPLOYEE SUPPORTS, SUCH AS COVID-19 EMPLOYEE RELIEF PROGRAMS THAT PAID EMERGENCY SICK LEAVE TO EMPLOYEES, AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL EMPLOYEE RELIEF FUNDS.
