PROTECT ANIMALS FROM CRUELTY AND NEGLECT, PROVIDE SHELTER AND CARE FOR LOST, ABANDONED AND INJURED ANIMALS, PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE THE HUMAN/ANIMAL BOND, AND PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP, AND PROTECT PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY. DURING THE YEAR THE SOCIETY PERFORMED 3,500 VACCINATIONS, SHELTERED 1,476 ANIMALS, FACILITATED 883 ADOPTIONS, PERFORMED 2,200 CLINIC SPAY/NEUTERS, AND ASSISSTED 1,500 CLIENTS AND 2,800 PETS AT THE VETERINARY RESOURCE CENTER TO FURTHER THE SOCIETY'S PURPOSE.
