THE MONTCLAIR HISTORY CENTER OFFERS GUIDED AND SELF-GUIDED MUSEUM TOURS TO INDIVIDUALS, SCHOOLS, AND ORGANIZATIONS. STAFF, TRUSTEES, AND VOLUNTEERS RESEARCH AND WRITE ARTICLES FOR LOCAL MEDIA AND PRESENT PROGRAMS ABOUT LOCAL HISTORY IN-PERSON, AS WALKING TOURS, FOR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, AND MOST RECENTLY, VIRTUALLY. THE ORGANIZATION'S LIBRARY OF 10,000+ DOCUMENTS AND OBJECTS IS USED BY HISTORIANS, THE COMMUNITY, STAFF, AND VOLUNTEERS TO RESEARCH LOCAL HISTORY, HOMES, AND GENEALOGY.

THIS PROGRAM REVENUE AND EXPENSES RELATES TO THE RESTORATION OF THE SCHULTZ BUILDING AND AIMS TO PRESERVE ITS HISTORICAL INTEGRITY BY MAINTAINING ITS ORIGINAL ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES AND MATERIALS, ENSURING ITS CONTINUED SIGNIFICANCE WITHIN THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY.


THIS PROGRAM REVENUE AND EXPENSE REPRESENTS THE SALARIES, BENEFITS COSTS FOR PAID PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND SUPPORT STAFF THAT OVERSEAS THE DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES OF THE SOCIETY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SOLICITING NEW MEMBERS, CREATING PROGRAMS AND FLIERS FOR TOURS, HERB SALES, VARIOUS OTHER ACTIVITIES.


THE SECOND PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS RELATES TO VARIOUS HISTORICAL TOURS, CLASSES AND SCHOOL TRIPS RELATING TO RENTAL INCOME AND UTILITIES AND REPAIRS EXPENSES TO PROMOTE THE SOCIETY'S MISSION.
