TO REPRESENT THE ADVANCEMENT OF INTERVENTIONAL NEUROLOGY AS A FIELD WITH THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF IMPROVING CLINICAL CARE AND OUTCOMES OF PATIENTS WITH STROKE AND CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASES.

EVENTS - SVIN'S ANNUAL MEETING IS AN EDUCATIONAL AND NETWORKING EVENT FOR PHYSICIANS,INDUSTRY PARTNERS, AND MEMBERS OF THE STROKE CARE TEAM, WITH APPROXIMATELY 900 ANNUAL ATTENDEES.
EDUCATION: SVIN EDUCATION INITIATIVES PROVIDE VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON TRAINING FOR THE STROKE CARE TEAM INCLUDING EMS AND EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL AND STROKE RECOGNITION TRAINING FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC. ADDITIONALLY, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS PROVIDE VIRTUAL CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION ("CME") FOR VASCULAR AND INTERVENTIONAL NEUROLOGISTS. SVIN ALSO HOSTS "SVIN BREAK", A VIRTUAL MEETING FOR VASCULAR AND INTERVENTIONAL NEUROLOGY TRAINEES, AND INTERNATIONAL HANDS-ON TRAINING WORKSHOPS THROUGH THE MISSION THROMBECTOMY GLOBAL ACCESS FOR STROKE TREATMENT INITIATIVE.
PUBLICATIONS - "STROKE: VASCULAR AND INTERVENTIONAL NEUROLOGY JOURNAL" IS AN OPEN ACCESS PUBLICATION JOINTLY OWNED BY SVIN AND THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION ("AHA"), PUBLISHED BY WILEY. IN 2022, SVIN AND AHA RECONCILED REVENUE AND EXPENSES FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR IN ACCORDANCE WITH A 50/50 PROFIT (LOSS) SHARE AGREEMENT.
