Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

WE PROVIDE CHILDREN OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT NATURE, ARTS, AND FRIENDSHIP. WE MAKE OUR PROGRAM AVAILABLE TO CHILDREN WHO CANNOT AFFORD TO GO TO CAMP AND OFFER THEM CAMPING, ARTS, THEATRE, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. WE HELP CAMPERS DEVELOP SELF-ESTEEM, INDEPENDENT AND GROUP LIVING SKILLS, AND TO APPRECIATE NATURE.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

OUR ANNUAL PROGRAM GIVES APPROXIMATELY 170, MANY OF THEM UNDERPRIVILEGED, CHILDREN, TRADITIONAL SUMMER CAMP, THEATRE CAMP, ROPES COURSE, AND WILDERNESS EXPERIENCES. FOR MANY OF THE CAMPERS, IT IS THEIR ONLY RESPITE FROM THE UNFORTUNATE CIRCUMSTANCES IN WHICH THEY LIVE. MANY OF THE CAMPERS GO ON TO BECOME COUNSELORS, AND HAVING HAD THE CAMP EXPERIENCE THEMSELVES, ARE BETTER ABLE TO MENTOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHILDREN WHO ATTEND THE CAMP.
