MEALS PROGRAM FOR SENIORS - THE SENIOR CENTER SERVES APPROXIMATELY 1,000 MEALS MONTHLY ON SITE AND THROUGH THE MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM. THESE MEALS ARE BY DONATION ONLY, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY. THE MEALS ARE HOME COOKED, NUTRITIONAL, WELL BALANCED MEALS THAT ARE OVERSEEN BY A REGISTERED DIETICIAN.
PROVIDE HEALTH AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS - THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING PERIODIC EXERCISE CLASSES, FOOT CLINICS, FLU SHOTS, AND BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS. THESE PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED AT LOW COST (AND MANY ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST) TO AREA SENIORS.
