PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO SINGLE ADULTS AND FAMILIES THAT WERE FORMERLY HOMELESS. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ARE PROVIDED WITH SUPPORT SERVICES TO HELP THEM GAIN AND MAINTAIN HOUSING, INCOME AND EMOTIONAL STABILITY. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS FORMERLY HOMELESS HOUSEHOLDS TO ACHIEVE INCREASED LEVELS OF SELF-RELIANCE THROUGH THE SUCCESSFUL TENANCY AMOUNG RESIDENTS PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS A HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM THROUGH WHICH PARTICIPANTS ARE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO LEARN THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR SUCCESSFUL HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, VOLUNTEERISM, SELF ADVOCACY, COPING SKILLS, INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, CRISIS RESOLUTION, AND GOAL SETTING. SOME PARTICIPANTS REQUIRE ASSISTANCE WITH COOKING AND NUTRITION SKILLS, BANKING, MEDICATION COMPLIANCE, AND TRANSPORTATION.
